Kenyan Man Accused of Murder Admits to Eating Victim’s Body Parts

Alexander Kinyua, the Joppatowne, Maryland man accused of killing and dismembering 37-year-old Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie of Nigeria nationality, has admitted to detectives to eating part of the victims body parts, including the victim’s heart and a portion of the brain.
Police say Kinyua’s brother found the
victim’s head and hands stashed in a container in the laundry room of the house located at 535 Terrapin Terrace, Joppatowne, MD. Other body parts were found in a church dumpster along Trimble Rd.
Kinyua is a 21-year-old Morgan State student and a naturalized citizen of the United States who moved to the U.S. from Nairobi, Kenya nine years ago.
He made an initial appearance in court this morning and is being held without bail. He is charged with 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault and 2nd degree assault.
The county chief medical examiner has yet to officially identify the body parts as those of Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie.
